Hosting a small or medium-sized party at home? We at FoodThinkers have a great suggestion for you, with the help of the Breville Professional Grill. Skewers have always been fun to eat, but less fun to make, because it is so time consuming. Not anymore, we say. Take a look at three kinds of skewered delights and appetizers that can turn your party around (3 kinds for 3 major food preferences): a yummy teriyaki pork skewer, a unique pesto-flavored seafood skewer, and flavorful veggie skewers. Here we go!

De-vein the shrimps, put it in a bowl. Mix it together with ¾ cup pesto. Also cut the cream dory to 1 ½ inch pieces, put in a separate bowl, then also mix together with ¾ cup pesto.

Skewer in this order: Shrimp -> Cream Dory -> Tomato
Grill in the Breville BBQ Grill for 2 minutes.
Cut pork in to 1 ½ inch pieces. Put them in a bowl and marinate in 1 cup teriyaki sauce, 1tbsp brown sugar, and ½ cup oil. Add salt and pepper.

Skew the pork pieces on a stick and grill for 2 to 3 minutes in the Breville Professional Grill.

Cut the veggies into 1 ½ inch pieces and marinate them in ¾ cup of pesto.
Chef's note: Blanch vegetables and cool them down before marinating. It will allow the veggies to suck in the flavor of the marinade.
Skew them in a stick and grill in the Breville Professional Grill for 2 to 3 minutes.
