 30 g butter
1 kg Pumpkin – peeled and cut into inch square pieces
 2 cloves of Garlic, pressed
 2 pcs. medium onion diced
 2 tsp sugar
salt to taste – pinch to taste
 2 cup Chicken Stock
 1 cup Milk
1 tsp Nutmeg to sprinkle on top
Optional Bacon or ham bones – we have added these before and it works out well, but I prefer the plain pumpkin flavor without.

1

Place the Easy Sear™ Pan on top of the stove and heat the butter. Place the onions and pumpkin. Add sugar, salt and stock. Cover the pan and transfer it to your Breville Automatic Meal Maker™.

2

Cook the mixture for 4-5 hours.

3

When ready to serve, remove the onions and cool the soup down.

4

Using the Breville Die Cast Kinetix Blender™, puree the soup and transfer the soup in the searing pan.

5

Add milk or cooking cream, to achieve correct consistency.
(DO NOT add milk if intending on freezing – just freeze as is. Can add milk when thawed).
Cover and cook for 30 minutes on low setting.

6

Serve with a sprinkle of Nutmeg.

7

Enjoy!
