Hosting a small or medium-sized party at home? We at FoodThinkers have a great suggestion for you, with the help of the Breville Professional Grill. Skewers have always been fun to eat, but less fun to make, because it is so time consuming. Not anymore, we say. Take a look at three kinds of skewered delights and appetizers that can turn your party around (3 kinds for 3 major food preferences): a yummy teriyaki pork skewer, a unique pesto-flavored seafood skewer, and flavorful veggie skewers. Here we go!

Saute the ingredients in the BRC600 (onions, garlic, coriander leaves, laurel leaf, the spices).
Mix in the Basmati rice, then pour the vegetable stock. Set the Breville Multichef to "Rice/Steam" setting.
Mix in the pistachios, raisins and dried apricots when the rice is almost cooked.
Stir well. Keep the Multichef in "warm" setting and let the rice cook a little bit longer on its own.
Coat the shrimp and the beef separately with the paste.
Chefs Note: Make 2 batches of SpicePaste if marinating seafood and meat to avoid cross contamination. Do not use the same covered container to marinate both items.
Grill the shrimp and the beef in the Breville BBQ Grill
Serve the Turkish Pilaf with the grilled shrimp and beef in a nice plate.
