Turon is a popular afternoon treat usually made of ripe bananas wrapped in lumpia wrapper. It is best to incorporate with a sturdier base like strawberries.

Peel and slice the saging saba into half (lengthwise). Mince the strawberries.
Pre-heat the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer to 220 Deg C.
Dip your fingers in water and run them along the edge of the lumpia wrapper to make them easier to fold.
Fold the top and bottom over the banana, add at least half a teaspoon of minced strawberries, and then roll it sideways, sealing the banana inside and using a little more water to make the wrapper stick together.
Place the prepared turon into the Breville air fry basket. Brush each turon with vegetable oil, and air fry it for 12 minutes or until brown and crispy.
For the caramel sauce: In a pre-heated pan (medium-low heat), melt the butter then add brown sugar and water stir until the sugar has dissolved. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes with continuous stirring until it thickens into a sauce.
In the same pan, add the turon and coat it with the caramel sauce and sprinkle with white sesame seeds.
To assemble: Plate the turon together with sliced strawberries, basil leaves, and strawberry ice cream. Enjoy!
