 2 cups rice
 3 cups 3 cups of chicken or vegetable stock
 4 pcs. of eggs, beaten and fried
 1 tbsp vegetable oil
 2 pcs. of white onions, chopped
 2 stalks of leeks, roughly chopped
 2 cloves of garlic, minced
 4 pcs. of chili fingers, minced
 1 chicken breast, filleted and roughly chopped
 58 pcs. of shrimp, deveined and chopped
 a bunch of coriander, roughly chopped
 a pinch of cumin
 ½ cup kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
 salt and pepper to taste

Using the sear/saute function of the Breville Multichef™, saute the onions, garlic and chilies.

Add the chicken, shrimp and leeks, then cover the pot, and let it cook lightly.

Add the rice and allow it to crack. 

Chef's Note: Cracking is to lightly saute the rice grains in oil without browning, to allow faster cooking.

Add the chicken stock and set the machine to its Rice

Function and press start.

Once cooked, press Stop.

Serve and enjoy!

TIP: Nasi Goreng can be enjoyed with a variety of complimenting dishes like kebabs or curries. You could use the day-old rice from the left overs to make this dish, a great way to give a twist to your lunch.
