CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Your classic chocolate cookie has never been this good. Adding chocolate droplets creates more texture and chewiness to your dessert. Definitely something you’d get out of the jar for your sweet fix.

 225 g Flechard unsalted butter
 340 g sugar
 100 g eggs
 2 tsp vanilla extract
 314 g all purpose flour
 31 g Beryl’s cocoa powder
 1 tbsp Beryl’s dark cocoa powder
 1 tsp coffee powder
 ¾ tsp baking soda
 ¼ salt
 125 g Beryl’s white chocolate, cubed
 125 g Beryl’s dark chocolate, cubed
 62 g coarsely chopped nut (optional) Beryl’s couverture chocolate, to top

Preheat Breville Smart Oven™ Pro at 180°C under Cookies Function.

Using the Breville Bakery Boss™ with the double scraper attached, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in eggs and vanilla. Mix well.

Stir in flour, cocoa powder, dark cocoa powder, coffee powder, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture, beating until well blended.

Add in white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Mix until just combined.

Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet then put couverture chocolate on top.

Bake 8-10 minutes or just until set. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
