Apple Teacake

1 cup caster sugar

2 cups milk

3 pcs. eggs

1 cup brown sugar

½ cup apricot jam

1 tsp vanilla essence

4 pcs. apples

2 cups self-rising flour (we used ordinary all-purpose flour for this + baking powder and baking soda).

Slice the apples using the slicing disc, about 4mm thick.

Process the cake mixture using the Quad Blade (TM).

Pour the mixture in the pan and arrange the sliced apples on top.

Insert the pan in the pre-heated Breville Smart Oven Pro. Waiting and sniffing time!

After 45-50 minutes, voila! Take out the teacake. While it is hot, brush the surface with the apricot jam.
