
In a wide medium pot, clarify the butter over low heat.
Saute the apples until the butter becomes well incorporated.
Add the flour and mix well.
Add the sugar and mix well.
Add the cinnamon
Squeeze the lemon over the apples (juice only seeds excluded)
Add water and mix constantly until apples become soft.
In a clean dry surface, sift flour and make a well.
Add the sugar.
Combine the flour and sugar by rubbing your palms gently until well incorporated.
Once incorporated, form a well and slowly put in the butter.
Combine the items once again by rubbing your palms gently until you produce a crumb like consistency.
In a wide shallow oval shaped microwavable dish put half of the cooled simmered apples and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the crumble evenly on top of the apples, and bake on the Breville grill for 25 minutes over maximum heat until the surface becomes brown.
